Teach me Tuesday Easter frame card

Hi everyone it's Kelly coming to you from the Mbtreasurista Design team Teach me Tuesday tutorial today of an Easter frame card that I made using a sizzix die.  I have not seen this technique done but if it has already I am sorry for repeating it but I finagled the idea around a bit until I got it perfectly the way I wanted it and I have the cards to show you in the beginning and end of the video.  I did have one fail but then after tweaking it a bit, came up with a really swift way to create a beautiful scallop frame around the entire card, trifold frame and to put it together for a nice Easter treat for my family! 

You will need:
Some sort of square or rectangle die
6 x 12 piece of cardstock/paper
3 pcs of cardstock for frames
lace for outside embellishment and flowers for garnish

Good morning everyone!!! Now if the calender didn't say it was spring then i would have no idea by looking outside as we are still getting snow, how crazy is that. So who else has "Spring Fever" i know i do, so ready for the warm weather, flowers and the sounds of birds :) So to get some of that Spring mojo flowing, Creating the Crafty Life is bringing you a spring inspired blog hop full of inspiration. 

So for my project i totally wanted to alter something. So off to Michaels i went and scoured for something that i hadn't done yet and what did i find but a wooden picket fence basket. It was slightly damaged so bonus i got it 75% off. I hope you love it as much as i do, it will be displayed all Spring Long :)

MBT Color Me Easter Creative Challenge

It's the start of a new month and that means it's time to kick off our March Creative Challenge!! So for March's challenge we decided to go with a color challenge. And with Easter coming early this year with less than 4 weeks away, we wanted to use Easter colors, Make since right? and you can make anything with it, sky is the limit.
